Festivals
Over the years, I have been involved in painting at many festivals. They are a great opportunity and excuse to travel, meet new people, paint, party and have some great experiences. I have painted at graffiti festivals all over, including in Bali, Thailand, Italy and Mongolia. It is always nice to connect with local artists and see the city from a local perspective and not feel like a tourist.
Locally I have helped to curate and organise large art installations and graffiti jams at festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, The Australian Open, Urban Canvas, Write for Gold, MOS Melbourne, St Kilda Festival, Yemaya, Tanglewood and Maitreya, where I curated and managed 40 graffiti and street artists to paint the entire festival, which was a blast.

Rainbow Serpent festival became an annual pilgrimage.
For 7 years in a row I would travel there a few days before the festival began to set up and get busy painting stages, fences, buildings and temporary walls. All the artists would camp together and once the painting was done, party together.
These were some of the most enjoyable times of my life. Twenty thousand people would attend the festival each year, all there to have a great time. No one in any art gallery around the world appreciates artwork the way someone tripping does, seeing people respond to and interact with the artwork was always fun.
