Reconnections

I curated, installed and hosted Reconnection, the first group exhibition at Let’s Pretend Gallery in Prahran. The show brought together more than 40 emerging, mid-career and established artists working across sculpture, glass, painting, vinyl toys, illustration, print, collage, woodwork, digital art, neon and more.

After two years of strict lockdowns in Melbourne, we created the gallery as an affordable place for artists to work, exhibit and reconnect with one another and their audiences. Reconnection reflected that moment, bringing a broad mix of artists back into a shared physical space after a long period of isolation.

The exhibition marked a return to Melbourne’s creative community and brought together a deliberately varied collection of practices, styles and disciplines.
